Package Refund Policy
Here at The Dog Scoop, we truly value the trust you place in us to care for your dogs. We do our best to be fair, understanding, and flexible while also protecting the sustainability of our small business. Please review our package refund policy below.
No Expiration
Prepaid packages do not expire. Your unused credits remain on your account and can be used at any time. We want you to have peace of mind knowing your investment is safe and available whenever you need it.
In the Event of a Pet’s Passing
We understand how heartbreaking it is to lose a beloved dog. In the unfortunate event of a dog’s passing, we will provide a refund for any unused package credits once we are notified. This policy applies to a pet’s passing under any circumstances and is not related to services provided at our facility. Our hearts are with you during such a difficult time.
Extenuating Circumstances
We know that life can bring unexpected challenges. In extenuating circumstances, a partial refund of up to 50% of the remaining unused package balance may be issued at management’s discretion. Each situation is reviewed individually, and supporting documentation may be requested when appropriate.
Accidental or Duplicate Purchases
If a package is purchased by mistake (for example, a duplicate transaction), please notify us on the same day the purchase is made. When brought to our attention promptly, duplicate or mistaken purchases will receive a full refund. Requests made after the day of purchase may not qualify.
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Because we are a small business, payment disputes and chargebacks can have a significant impact on us. By purchasing a package, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a dispute with your bank or credit card provider.
We are always happy to review transactions and correct legitimate errors. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of services until the matter is resolved. We reserve the right to provide documentation of services rendered and this agreed-upon policy in response to any payment dispute.
General Policy
Except as outlined above, packages are non-refundable. Since packages do not expire, we encourage clients to use their credits at their convenience. We are always happy to answer questions before purchase to ensure you select the right option for your family.
