*A 50% deposit is required to reserve all boarding stays. Dates are not held until the deposit is received. Clients are advised not to pay the deposit until they are off the waitlist.*
Non-peak Period Stays:
- Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled drop-off time receive a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations made 24–72 hours before drop-off receive account credit for the deposit amount.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before drop-off forfeit the deposit.
Peak Period Stays:
Peak periods include holidays, holiday weeks, long weekends, school vacation weeks, and other high-demand dates published on our calendar.
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before drop-off receive a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations made 3–7 days before drop-off receive account credit for the deposit amount.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before drop-off forfeit the deposit.
Additional Terms:
- Date changes made inside the cancellation window are treated as cancellations. Early pickups do not reduce charges for reserved nights.
- No-shows are charged for the full reserved stay.
- Documented pet medical emergencies may qualify for account credit at our discretion.
- In the event that your dog is not picked up at the end of their stay an emergency boarding fee of $50 will be added to each additional night.
These policies allow us to staff our limited capacity boarding program appropriately and responsibly.
Weather and Travel Disruption Exceptions
We understand that true travel disruptions sometimes occur outside of a client’s control. In these cases, deposits may be converted to account credit when documentation is provided.
Qualifying events include:
- Government-declared travel restrictions or state of emergency
- Major highway or airport closures
- Airline flight cancellations or delays greater than 6 hours
- Documented missed connections caused by airline disruption
- Official evacuation orders
Non-qualifying situations include:
- Voluntary travel changes
- Weather forecasts without travel restrictions
- Personal schedule changes
- Missed flights due to late arrival at the airport
- Preference-based cancellations
