Thank you for considering my business to care for your dog. I understand how important your pet is to you and that it is hard to trust just anyone. That is why I think it is important for you to know a little bit about me and how I came to start The DogScoop.
I grew up in
Concord
,
Massachusetts
. After graduating from highschool I decided to enroll in the United States Marine Corps. I successfully completed an intense 4 months in boot camp and graduated as honour man at the top of my class. I spent a total of four years serving my country and left active duty as a Desert Storm Veteran.
I returned to the
United States
to attend college at the
University
of
Massachusetts
. After graduating with a degree in business, I spent the next seven years with a prominent software company in sales. I worked hard and held the number one sales title in my company for three years straight. Though I loved sales, I always had another passion: animals. I decided that my role in the corporate world needed to come to an end and I wanted to apply my passion and strengths to those that truly appreciated it; dogs.
I founded the The DogScoop in 2003. I am a certified trainer licensed with
Animal
Behavior
College
. I believe in respect, love, compassion and discipline. Most importantly, I believe dogs should be allowed to be dogs. |
